How Studio Sessions work:
Our Studio Session is split into 2 halves - a Photo Session followed by a Purchasing Appointment. The 5 steps below will help you know what to expect from a Studio experience here at the Photographyroom!
Get in touch to arrange a time for your Studio Session as the Photographyroom is strictly by appointment only!
Have a little think beforehand what products, styles and sizes would suit your home. Remember to plan your wardrobe too! Wear something you are comfortable in. Jeans and long sleeves always look good, we just suggest that you avoid bright whites (unless you will all be in white), prominent logos & fluro-coloured sneakers.
If you need to cancel your Photo Session please let us know as soon as possible so we can release that appointment time for other clients. A modest rebooking fee of $55 for sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may apply.
Step 1
Multi-award winning Photographer Mark Trumble will be your personal photographer at the Photographyroom.
At the start of the Photo Session you will sit down with Mark and discuss which styles you like so he can tailor the session to suit your needs.
Together you will then create a selection of fun, beautiful images. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for each Photo Session.
Our Pet Portraits are always in studio and for Families & Children we offer the best of both worlds - studio and there are a number of fabulous, nearby outdoor locations within walking distance.

The best time to decide what you’d like to take home is at your Purchasing Appointment. One Purchasing Appointment is complimentary - it’s where you can look at all the beautiful images we captured together and purchase your favourite photographs.
While we do not guarantee that we can immediately show you the images we have taken on the day, if you would like to please ask and we will try. Often if it is more convenient to come back for a seperate appointment and we are happy to arrange that too.
There are a number of ways for you to own and enjoy your photos - Credit Card payments are accepted and we offer convenient payment plan options. There is no minimum spend and no obligation to purchase any products after your session.
If for any reason you need more then one Purchasing Appointment to make your decisions, additional consultations are available at $55 each and that amount will be deducted from your order.
Step 4
After an order has been placed from your Purchasing Appointment our highly experienced Digital Artists will prepare your images with skill and tender loving care.
It usually takes between 3-5 weeks for your images to be ready and we will call as soon as they are ready for collection!
