The Photography Room has been raising funds for the Animal Welfare League through photo sessions for over seven years, and have now reached a total of $43,000 raised!

The AWL is South Australia’s leading animal welfare provider, and has been creating happy homes for stray and abandoned animals since 1964.

  • We just love their gentle nature! They truly are the ‘old souls’ of the dog world! We would love to meet more of these dogs and hear about their story.

  • The Animal Welfare League (AWL) is a leading animal welfare provider recognized for the provision and development of services for animals in need.

  • In addition to helping raise much needed funds for the AWL, our session fee is waived and our first dog image is with our compliments! You will also have a series of priceless and creative portraits taken with the opportunity to purchase additional photographs to enjoy ‘furever’ in your home.

  • For just over 7 years we have been raising funds for the AWL through photo sessions and we have now reached a total of $40,000 raised! We would love to reach a total of $45,000 by the end of 2023!

  • We encourage you, children or the whole family to be photographed with your beautiful dog(s) at no extra cost! If you have multiple pets, they are family as well and are very welcome.

  • Yes! You have the choice one complimentary 12x8" dog print which is included in this offer. You will be given the opportunity to select and purchase additional photographs, however whatever you decide is totally up to you! Images start from $295 with special collections available.

  • Very active or even naughty dogs are the most fun to photograph – lots of expressions and great shots!

  • It's rare that a dog isn’t a fan of what we do here, having photographed over 3000 dogs, ranging from ‘nervous nellies’ to ‘hypoactive hounds’ and everything in between.

    Not once have we failed to at least get one stunning piece of artwork. Our patient team will work with you and your dog(s) to be sure you have the best experience and in addition, produce stunning images (you may have not thought possible) of your nervous, furry friend!
